How does the initial consultation work?

Your first consultation is a 30-minute video call with one of our AHPRA-registered healthcare professionals (either a doctor or nurse practitioner). You'll discuss your health history, current symptoms, and goals. There's no pressure and no obligation. You can ask anything.

How does the process work?

Complete a short online health assessment. Book your telehealth consultation. Obtain bloodwork from iMedical. Your healthcare provider (doctor or nurse practitioner) reviews your pathology results and creates a personalised protocol. Your prescription is then dispensed and delivered discreetly to your door.

Is bloodwork necessary for consultations?

All initial consults for new patients require bloodwork. Future consultations may also require bloodwork; the assigned doctor or nurse practitioner will determine this beforehand.

Note: Bloodwork fee to be paid directly to iMedical.

Is my information secure?

Yes. We implement SSL encryption during transmission, secure server storage with firewalls and regular security audits, and access controls limiting data to authorised personnel only. Thrivix complies fully with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Your health information is never shared without your explicit consent. View our full Privacy Policy for complete security details.

Are your medical professionals registered in Australia?

Yes. Our entire team (doctors and nurse practitioners) hold full AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration. You can verify any practitioner's registration at ahpra.gov.au.

What if I'm not eligible for your programme?

Not everyone is a candidate, and that's okay. If you're not eligible, your practitioner will explain why and may recommend alternative approaches or a specialist referral. You'll never be left without a clear next step.

How are medications / products delivered?

All prescriptions are dispensed by an Australian pharmacy and delivered discreetly to your nominated address in plain packaging. Delivery typically takes within 10 business days from payment. You can choose your delivery address.

What are the medication costs involved?

Costs depend on your personalised protocol. Transparent pricing is provided during your consultation before you commit to anything. There are no hidden fees. Prescribing is not guaranteed and is subject to consultation.

Do you offer payment plans?

Unfortunately no pay later options are available. We do however offer flexible payment methods to make our services accessible.

How are products from the store delivered including timeline?

All products are delivered using Premium Express shipping, approximately 4 business days.

How is my protocol personalised?

Your specialist assesses your complete health profile and designs a protocol tailored to your unique biology, training history, and goals. Your protocol is monitored and adjusted based on your response.

How are results monitored?

Your specialist conducts ongoing clinical assessment every 4-6 weeks with blood work to track your body's response. Progress is individualised. Factors like genetics, training consistency, nutrition, and sleep all influence outcomes. We adjust protocols based on your specific response.

Can women use muscle health protocols?

Absolutely. Muscle health optimisation is for everyone. We review your full biological profile, including hormonal markers, lifestyle patterns, and goals, across all six Thrivix programs to design a strategy built around your individual physiology, supporting strength, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.

What's the timeline from assessment to protocol?

Your specialist reviews your blood work and designs your custom protocol. Timelines vary depending on assessment results and individual circumstances. Your prescription is then dispensed and delivery is arranged once your protocol is finalised.

What if I have joint pain alongside low strength?

We assess your full picture. If joint support is needed, your protocol targets both muscle gain and underlying joint health.

What does biological age actually mean?

Biological age is a concept that describes how well your body's cells and systems are functioning relative to your chronological age.

It is shaped by genetics, daily habits, environment, and health factors. While your calendar age is fixed, biological age reflects these influences and can differ between individuals.

How do these approaches support biological wellness?

Evidence-based protocols support cellular health, skin health, and energy resilience. Your results will depend on your unique biology, protocol, and commitment to the program. Your clinician will set realistic expectations during consultation.

Is this just about looks?

No. We target ageing at the cellular level. This supports energy, recovery, strength, immunity, and cognitive function alongside visible changes. It's longevity and quality of life, not vanity.

What's the difference between your anti-ageing protocol and standard cosmetic procedures?

Cosmetic procedures address surface-level aspects of appearance.

At Thrivix, we explore the deeper biological systems that contribute to vitality, resilience, and how you experience ageing over time. We review blood markers, health context, lifestyle patterns, and your personal objectives to create a tailored optimisation plan centred on your unique physiology — with ongoing refinement to support long-term wellbeing.

What is the timeline for cellular changes?

Cellular changes such as shifts in energy production, repair processes, or resilience are gradual and highly individual. They are influenced by a wide range of factors including genetics, age, nutrition habits, sleep quality, physical activity, stress levels, environmental exposures, and overall lifestyle patterns.

There is no fixed or predictable timeline for how or when these changes occur, as every person's biology responds differently. Supporting long-term cellular health is an ongoing process that benefits from consistent, evidence-informed habits over time.

Is this preventive care or treatment?

Thrivix focuses on health optimisation and supporting your body's natural biological processes through a personalised, biology-first approach.

Our programs are designed to help you understand the key factors influencing your current state, such as blood markers, lifestyle patterns, recovery signals, nutrition habits, and personal goals, so you can make informed choices to support long-term wellbeing and resilience.

This is not a medical treatment, diagnosis, or cure for any condition. It is educational and supportive in nature, emphasising prevention, maintenance, and optimisation rather than addressing or treating disease.

What should I know about brain health optimisation?

Brain health is influenced by multiple interconnected factors, including hormone balance, metabolic function, inflammation markers, sleep quality, nutrition, and lifestyle. During your consultation, your clinician will review your blood work, health history, and personal goals to develop a tailored approach that supports overall cognitive function and mental clarity.

How is cognitive wellness supported?

Your clinician designs a personalised protocol based on your assessment results and specific cognitive goals. Protocols are adjusted through regular monitoring.

Can hormones really affect cognitive function?

Yes. Hormones like testosterone, oestrogen, and progesterone contribute to brain processes related to energy, mood, memory, and focus.

These hormones interact with neurotransmitters, sleep, and stress systems in ways that vary between individuals.

What changes can I expect in cognitive function?

Your specialist designs your protocol based on your specific cognitive goals and biological markers. Any individual variation in cognitive function depends on baseline function, consistency with your protocol, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle. Regular assessment ensures your protocol is reviewed and adjusted for your individual needs.

Does this help with memory?

Memory and cognitive function are influenced by many biological and lifestyle factors, including sleep quality, stress levels, nutrition habits, hormonal patterns, and overall health.

At Thrivix, we take a biology-first approach by reviewing these elements to build a clearer picture of how they relate to your current cognitive wellbeing. This helps you better understand the factors that play a role in memory and focus over time.

Can this help with anxiety or mood?

Mood and emotional wellbeing are shaped by biological factors such as hormonal patterns, neurotransmitter function, sleep, stress, and nutrition, along with lifestyle and health context.

We review these elements to help you better understand the influences on your mood and resilience.

How does our protocol support tissue healing and regeneration?

Your clinician starts with a thorough, individualised assessment that includes reviewing your specific injury or tissue damage history, current symptoms, recent blood work (including markers related to inflammation, hormone balance, nutrient levels, and metabolic function), and relevant lifestyle factors. This helps build a clear picture of how your body's natural repair processes are currently functioning and what may be influencing them.

From this assessment, a personalised plan is developed that considers multiple biological pathways involved in tissue recovery — such as supporting healthy inflammation responses, collagen production, circulation, and cellular energy availability. The plan is designed around your unique biology, goals, and any constraints, rather than using a generic template.

Regular clinical follow-up and repeat testing allow your clinician to track how your body is responding and make targeted adjustments over time to better support your natural healing capacity.

How does this compare to other approaches?

Different approaches serve different purposes. Your clinician will discuss which options may be appropriate for your specific situation during consultation. Treatment plans are individualised based on your assessment.

Can I combine this with physiotherapy?

Absolutely, and we recommend it. Your protocol and physiotherapy work together to support tissue recovery. Physiotherapy provides the mechanical stimulation needed to support physical function, while your personalised protocol provides additional biological support during recovery. Your physiotherapist can program progressively challenging exercises as your tissue improves. Individual results vary based on protocol adherence and rehabilitation consistency.

How is progress tracked during healing?

Your specialist monitors your recovery through regular clinical assessments and blood marker reviews. Recovery timeline depends on factors like injury severity, your age, baseline health, and adherence to lifestyle recommendations. Your specialist designs a progressive plan to support tissue recovery based on your individual response.

Is low libido normal with age?

Sexual health is influenced by many interconnected factors including hormones, stress, sleep, relationship dynamics, and overall health. These factors can change with age but are not inevitable consequences of ageing. A comprehensive assessment can identify factors relevant to your individual situation.

How does testosterone optimisation support sexual health?

Testosterone is one of several hormones that contribute to sexual health and wellbeing in men. It plays a role in physiological processes related to energy, mood, desire, arousal, and overall vitality.

Individual factors such as baseline levels, lifestyle patterns, health history, and personal circumstances influence how these systems function. Understanding these biological elements can help support long-term sexual wellbeing through informed choices.

What about women and hormone health?

Hormones play a key role in women's sexual wellbeing, energy patterns, and overall vitality. Factors like age, lifestyle, stress, and health history can influence hormonal balance in unique ways for each individual.

Is this completely private?

Completely. All consultations are telehealth. Prescriptions arrive in unmarked packaging. Your health information stays confidential. This is your private health matter and we treat it that way.

What if I'm in a relationship?

Sexual health and intimacy exist within the context of your relationship. We can discuss your situation during consultation to understand how personal health goals align with relationship dynamics. Your specialist can help ensure any protocol supports your overall wellbeing.

How does this support sexual wellness?

Sexual wellness is shaped by interconnected biological and lifestyle factors, such as hormonal balance, vascular health, nervous system function, energy levels, sleep quality, and stress response.

We review blood markers, health context, daily habits, and your own objectives to help you better understand these influences and support your body's natural capacity for vitality.

Why is my weight stuck even though I'm exercising?

Weight plateaus aren't always about effort. Biology plays a big role. Factors like metabolic rate, hormonal patterns, inflammation, sleep, stress, and energy balance can all contribute.

We assess your blood work, lifestyle, and goals to help you understand these influences and support your body's natural processes.

How is fat loss supported?

Your personalised protocol combines evidence-based approaches to metabolism and body composition. Progress is monitored through regular assessment and adjusted based on your individual response.

How does the protocol protect muscle while optimising fat loss?

Your specialist personalises your plan to help you understand and support your body's natural processes for muscle maintenance and metabolic balance. This approach considers your blood markers, training history, nutrition habits, recovery patterns, and goals, evaluated across all six Thrivix programs, to create a tailored strategy built around your unique biology.

Your experience will depend on factors like training consistency, nutrition, lifestyle, and how your body responds over time.

What if I have thyroid or hormonal issues?

Hormonal and thyroid function are key biological elements that can affect energy balance and body composition.

We map your physiology in detail, reviewing blood markers, lifestyle context, health history, and personal objectives. This insight informs a personalised optimisation strategy built around your unique biology, supporting your body's natural regulatory capacity over time.

Do I need to diet strictly?

No. Strict or extreme dieting is not required.

We focus on understanding your biology and supporting your body's natural regulatory processes through personalised strategies that work in synergy with diet, nutrition habits, lifestyle factors, and your individual goals. The aim is sustainable balance rather than restrictive short-term changes.

What is the timeline for body composition changes?

Body composition changes vary widely depending on individual factors like baseline metabolism, hormonal patterns, nutrition habits, exercise consistency, sleep quality, stress levels, and overall lifestyle. There is no fixed timeline. Progress is unique to each person and influenced by biology over time.
